Dr. Jan-Daniel du Preez

Veterinarian and Practice Manager

Meet Dr. JD Du Preez, the owner and founder of JME Vet, and an esteemed member of our veterinary team. Dr. JD graduated from the prestigious Onderstepoort Faculty of Veterinary Science in 2019. Not only a seasoned veterinarian, he is also an avid breeder of European standard sport horses and an active showjumper in the South African equestrian community. With a profound passion for both equine and small animal care, Dr. JD brings a wealth of expertise to our practice, particularly in the fields of equine reproduction and radiography. Dr. JD is dedicated to providing exceptional care, ensuring the health and well-being of all animals under his care.

Dr. Jenna Nyce

Veterinarian

Meet Dr. Jenna Nyce, a distinguished graduate from Onderstepoort, who emerged at the top of her class in 2017 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science. With a rich background spanning rural Free State and bustling Johannesburg, Dr. Jenna brings a unique blend of practicality and finesse to small animal veterinary care.

Having grown up in the Kyalami area, Dr. Jenna’s roots run deep in the community. Her passion for fostering the human-animal bond is evident in her dedication to providing top-notch care to every patient she encounters.

With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to staying abreast of the latest advancements in veterinary science, Dr. Jenna is driven by her love for people and animals, and her desire to make a positive impact in their lives.

Outside of her veterinary career, Dr. Jenna enjoys a lively home life with three young kids and a menagerie of furry companions. From tending to her children’s adventures to caring for her beloved pets, Dr. Jenna finds fulfillment in the joyful chaos of family life.

She looks forward to connecting with fellow animal lovers and contributing her expertise to further elevate the standard of care at JME Vet.
